01/ The challenge
Marine researchers wanted citizen divers' observations but were getting low-quality data. Divers were filling free-text fields underwater, post-hoc, often inconsistently.
02/ The approach
We built an offline-first SwiftUI app with on-device vision (CoreML) for instant species suggestion underwater, structured logging, and conflict-free sync to a Django backend when the diver gets back to wifi.
